This piazza is in the centre of Riva del Garda with views across the lake and many restaurants and cafes around. Although some of the better restaurants sit a little further back from the lake side. That said it is a nice place to watch...More

Whilst staying Riva we decided to climb the bell tower. The tower opened at 10am and we went up then. Best to have the right money as they don't carry change. Its around 160 steps to the top of the bell tower. There are great...More

Plenty of eating and drinking available in the square, all reasonable prices, and just a few minutes walk from the shopping areas, where there are numerous shops selling everything from pasta, leather goods and clothes.

160-something stairs to the top. Wasn't crowded in October, great view of the town and nice gradual stairs, instead of steep smaller stairs. Worth the work to see the view.

Worth a climb up the tower to see views over the town and the square below. Cost was €2 for adults and is easy to climb. You can stand under the bell but beware it goes off on the hour.

A very nice square. Just by the lake. Nice restaurants in the surroundings which all have the exact same menu.

A good way to see the town and it's very affordable at 2 Euro. It doesn't take that long to climb, but it's well worth a visit. Mind your head on the last section!

It is a good hike up the tower but if you do not have time to hike up to the bastion this is a good alternative. It only costs 2 euro per person so I thought it was well worth it! It is a lot...More
