We enjoyed a short walk to the top of this gentle hill which is mainly ascended using a series of steps. The walk begins to the left of the road tunnel which leads to Torbole and is well signed to the top of the hill....More

Cable cars to the top are reasonably priced and views are spectacular. Get there early though unless you want to queue.

I walked along Monte Brione and visited the forts which cover the length. The walk took around two hours with some breaks to admire the views.

A hot walk on a summer's day! Lots of wooden steps to climb.Lovely views on the way up and at the top. Make sure you pay a visit to the fort and come back down on the roadway. It is a much easier descent.
