The building maintains the Liberty-Deco charm of the former Grand Hotel delle Terme which hosted illustrious people (such as Queen Margherita), film sets such as "The Last Emperor" and last but not least Irama's video "Ovunque tu essere".
The Moorish hall and the red room are stunning with their decorations and frescoes by master Galileo Chini. As well as the hall of caryatids. The elevator is also a gem in its originality.
The building, now owned by the municipality, should be promoted more with visits even at a symbolic cost to allow for its maintenance.
The girl from the tourist office was very good for the preparation and above all the passion she conveyed to us in accompanying us.

The Palazzo Congressi is somewhere else and looks completely different. It is a beautiful, but run down Building (like most in Salsomaggiore), is serves for several purposes and only the interior is well maintained. Worthwhile visiting.
