Enjoyable slopes for families. Nothing scary, lots of blue options. On the sunny side. My family’s prefered skiing option in San Martino di Castrozza. The mountain road going up to Passi Rolle from San Marino di Castrozza offers unbelievably beautiful views...

A stunning pass between Bellamonte & San Martino di Castrozza that has about 15km of skiing but some stunning runs nonetheless. This is a snow trap and as a result there is no artificial snow making capability in warmer ski seasons. It relies purely on...More

My first day in the dolomiti and we went to Passo Rolle as you can ride gondolas and chairlifts to the top. Breathtaking views and an amazing history about the brave Italians who fought in WWI to keep this area Italian!

Visited this pass a few times for sunset photography and hikes. Quiet in June. There are a few hotels, restaurant and shops. Mainly closed but will get busy come end of June. Good starting point for hikes, especially the hike to Baita Segantini.

Take the Gondola to the top of the mountain and take the hike down. It is a beautiful hike. I might recommend take the lower Gondola down if you are not an avid hiker...although you would miss some amazing views.
