Normally when you are in at some coast you need to rent a car or make a long walks in order to find great sea views. Not more here. You could rent a bike and ride it just along the sea and stay and relax whenever you want. Consider that this road isn´t for somebody who wants a very difficult... More

The ride is great an ideal for family activity. Great to discover le sea coast and avoid the heavy road traffic. Perfect for finding a picnic spot in the shore. In the tunnels it might be fresh in summer but during spring and autumn it's quite cold.

Beautifull bike pad along the sea. This is very good to ride or walke or even to skate. There should be more places like this.

We did this bike route on skates, from San Remo to San Bartolomeo sul Mare and back, about 35 km altogether. The paving is quite good in general and the fact that the trail goes through several tunnels gives some relief because it's at very sunny all the way. The views are great and there are many places along the... More

This bike trail goes on for 20+ miles thru towns and natural areas, and long tunnels too. It is a tremendous delight to go biking and see the beauty of the area beaches, mountains, towns. You will see a lot of new places to explore, public swimming pools, restaurants on tiny beaches, etc. Bike huts are at many points along... More

They moved the railway from the coast to the hills and, in its old location, they put the pista ciclabile. It's supposed to be about 60 km long but is not complete yet; it is however one of the very few successful Riviera endeavours as so many people use it to cycle safely, well arranged with proper lanes, seating, booths... My husband and I rented a 4 person bike, and we put our 4 and 6 year old kids at the front. We rented the bike on the bike path right at Corso Mombellow, and we rode the path for about 30-45 minutes (each way). We finally arrived at a rocky and somewhat deserted beach that was gorgeous. This activity... More

We cycled the Riviera Cycleway from SanRemo to San Lorenzo around Christmas time. It is easy to navigate, mostly flat as it is a railroad bed converted into a bike path. There are a few crossroads but they are well marked to it is a great place to take kids and enjoy good views of the Mediterranean sea. This time... More

No amount of praise can go to those that came up with the idea of changing an old railway track into this excellent Bike/Jogging/skating track . Almost all of its 30km has amazing seaviews with lots of places to stop for snacks or lunch along the way ! A jewel . Many places to rent Bicycles too.

Highly recommended - We used bikes supplied by our hotel and cycled to the far end of the trail from SanRemo, stopping on the way for coffee and again for lunch at the superb bike friendly cafes en-route. Very easy cycling, suitable for all abilities on a flat smooth track. Younger children (Under 12) may struggle with the full distance,... More
