Possibly the best resort in Europe....

Breathtaking views and great mountain restaurants, at really sensible prices for food and drink, ski hire seems expensive, but the resort...Wow...!!

Nice skiholiday in Selva di Val Gardena with my wife. That was our first skiholiday in Italy, but not the last one :)

An absolutely beautiful town nestled in the Dolomites. Gateway to some of the most scenic ski areas imaginable, serviced by a very efficient lift and gondola system. A great selection of restaurants, accommodations and shops. We were there for 2 weeks and could have easily stayed longer.

For our first visit we found the town pretty and looked forward to our first day on slopes. Immediately we were impressed with amazing mountain scenery . The mountain huts were great with good service and food. All perfect until,we started some hard skiing looking for some heart stopping thrills.. that's where it all went wrong for us ! The... More

Although the village seemed very busy the ski runs are not crowded as there is a vast ski area. The village is lovely with lots of great bars and shops.

Been all over Europe (France, Switzerland, Austria) but this is top!!! Third year in row, would never want to change. Huge skiing possibilities, great slopes. Connected to 11 other resorts, some of them can be done in skis. Town of Selva really nice, superb food. Wanna go also in the summer to check.

I visited the place in winter. We passed the place several times and stopped just for a short break: to eat and drink. Shops with skiing equipment are expensive. Staircase up to the short chairlift is not very good solution.
