We have skied this area before but this year the snow conditions were the best we have experienced. Our Dolomiti Superpass kept track of our movements, and we averaged 20-34 km of skiing daily. The lifts are linked so ingenuously that you can easily ski a vast area, surprising yourself with how much terrain you can cover. You do have... More

We did the tour green and next day orange... Last one is better and more intensive but easy to do if you are average and above skier... beautiful. first time after 10 year I would reconsider to come back to this area.

Being an experienced skier, I have skied the best mountains in Europe. I chose to ski in the Italian Dolomites because of the Sella Ronda cirquit of pistes that I had read about. The obvious base for skiing around the Sella Massif was Selva di Val Gardena (or Wolkenstein in Groeden as the locals call it). A nice traditional Austrian... More

Picturesque scenary but easy/boring slopes. No idea why they write in guidebooks that it takes 4-6 hours to complete the Sellaronda tour. It is 3-3.5 hours max both ways, and that - if you take little breaks on the way.

I recently had the opportunity of joining friends to ski in the Dolomites. We stayed in a rented chalet just outside the town of Wolkenstein (Val Gardena). From the chalet, we were able to ski directly into town and take the cable car to various ski runs. The scenery was breathtaking and although I took lots of pictures, they could... More

Skiing The Dolmites provides jaw dropping scenery. In addition it has extensive terrain, fun apres ski, Italian friendliness and Austrian charm. The adventure park is the best one that I've skiied. We loved the champagne bar for lunch sitting under the heat lamps and under the sheep skin throws. We stayed in a catered chalet, Oscar, with Ski Espirit which... More

Most skiers will, no doubt be familiar with the approach to Innsbruck airport. And if you have yet to experience it, it is a travellers treat, as it is undoubtedly one of the most spectacular aircraft arrivals in Europe. The journey from here, the closest airport with regular flights to/from the UK, to the Alpe di Siusi is never complex,... More

good equipment, nice and wide slopes. excellent for families and seniors. not so many black pistes, and if it snows they leave all pistes ungroomed "in order to enjoy the fresh snow", however practically you cannot use the center.
