A great day out is to get the gondola out of Selva hike over Passo Cir and Crespeina to Refugio Puez then decend into Vallunga and walk back along the valley to Selva. Its a full day out with a lunch and beer at Refugio Puez. Amazing scenery all the way.

I loved walking in this valley and visited a number of times during my week in Selva, it is so peaceful and the mountains either side are beautiful. I have not tried cross country skiing but the tracks look very inviting - perhaps next time......

The environment is breathtaking in this narrow valley at the and of Valgardena . The loop is about 12 kms with several kind of inclines . There are several paths you can follow with different lenght and several level of difficulty

It's great to ski . For me at least it's contours are grear not too shallow not too steep. Great for carving. Heading towards \corvara you fell your're motoring. Equally in the opposite direction it's just great.

Having stayed in the Val Gardena since 1987, this is a favorite walk... it is nice to bring a picnic and eat at the top of the valley, or just enjoy the hike and serenity and have a lovely lunch at the little Hütte at the beginning of the valley.....

Cross country skiing in stunning scenery. Despite being rated as a black run (to the head of the valley) it was not too difficult and could be taken cautiously if necessary.

Don't miss it. It is an easy brisk walk one of the most beautiful in Europe. In August it is rather crowded but the scenery is breathtaking

In recent years I and my family have experienced many resort for cross-country skiing in the Italian Alps. I believe that if many places are attractive from this point of view, no one equals the Val Gardena. It would be enough the existence of the incomparable Alpe di Siusi / Seiser Alm to establish this record, but there is also... More

This long valley surrounded by a beautiful scenery is a must to visit. I love to go there both in winter time and summer time! It's like living in a fairly tale world!
