Been to Senigallia many times but never actually went into the castle. So glad we did this time. 4 Euro entry which included an audio guide in English. The history and the information provided were very interesting. The building is also very beautiful.

This fort is magnificent! Sitting opposite the train station, it's one of the first things you see (assuming you've come in by train). Instantly, you get a feel for history of Senigallia and exciting times it has seen in the past.

While our trip was mostly focused on relaxing at the beach, we still like to weave in some culture or history. The Rocca was a cool site for a quick visit. There isn't a lot there, but we still enjoyed it.

It was interesting enough to wonder through and there was an exhibition of military uniforms on as well. I would give it a higher rating if more of the exhibits were in english / were translated properly. I would have liked to read more about the exhibits, but unfortunately couldn't because it was either poorly translated or not translated into... More

A large fort in the centro storico of the resort of Senigallia in Le Marche, well worth a visit. It is open to the public most days and the moat is used for many food and music festivals throughout th year including the annual Summer Jamboree music festival.

Enjoyed a very quiet explore of the fort. For just 2€ it's a bargain. There's a very good sculpture display which adds to the interest. Like that they have photos showing the fort in the past and can see how it's been used over the years. Finally you get the wonderful views from the terrace. Well worth a visit.

There was an art display at the castle when we visited and we loved the entire thing. The works of various artists and panels from churches with the original notes for the organ player on the reverse!

We had a confernce reception inside the Rocca Roveresca recently on September 2014. A nice place for this purpose. The building is still well maintained.

Senigallia city centre is really peculiar, however people do not expect to find a fortress in the middle of it. The castle is really well- preserved and people can visit it, at least the open areas. The view from the towers is nice too and oversees the adiacent piazza. Firthermore the area around is full of nice bars and restaurants;... More
