A very nice collaborative arts building where multiple artists have set up their studios, allowing for a nice mix of both gallery and creative spaces. The artists themselves are also very welcoming, and we felt they were just happy to discuss and explain their artwork rather than a sales pitch. There was also an informative display about the mill's history, which we found very interesting and added to the experience. A must visit spot for anyone passing through Alton or staying at Millcroft Inn and Spa.

A hidden-away gem. Their themed weekends are the best times to visit. The price and quality of the art are very good.

An opportunity to see and buy local art from the local artists. Paint, ceramics, woodworking are all on display at this restored mill, in beautiful Alton. You can meet and talk with many of the artists while they work.

We traveled to this beautiful gallery on Sunday... amazing vendors, reasonably price works of art. Great clothing and accessories... my favourite was art done with beeswax ... stunning... great day to travel and the fall colours around the property are breathtaking...

Glad you enjoyed your visit! We are proud of what we have accomplished with this out-of-the-way building, which in turn has attracted an incredibly talented array of artists, gallery operators and vendors. Dealing with them directly gives visitors great value and helps create meaningful employment in rural Ontario. Thanks for spreading the word.
