The theatre and the museum are both well worth the visit, especially on the Spoleto red card for €9.50 for 6 site visits. Be sure to walk the underground access corridors through which the public came into the theatre. The museum gives good background to...More

Spoleto is a very old settlement which is well-illustrated with a visit to the museum located in the former monastery of Saint Agatha in the center of the city. In this nicely organized and explained collection there are many artefacts, tools and objects from the...More

This beautiful museum is dedicated to the Roman ruins which feature quite prominently in this city. Next to it is the modernised Roman amphitheater. A must for tourists

The Roman theatre was buried for many hundreds of years before being rediscovered . Many theatrical productions are shown here . Inside you can see many treasures found on the site . It is an interesting look into old Roman life.

This place was magnificent. I was a little bummed not to be able to go out into the actual theatre, but there was so much to see that I gave this 5 stars. Most had english translations. Some areas are clearly still being set up.

Three floors of historical finds in a building alongside the roman theatre. It is advisable if visiting the many museums to buy the books of tickets to gain entrance to them Much, much cheaper

Really wanted to visit this theatre but in December whenever we passed by seemed to be closed so could only see from the gate. Even so looks very impressive so will try to visit next time.
