A lovely square where you can sit in a cafe, have a coffee and admire palaces and buildings around you. And also watch people walking around the square.

Survey the piazza from the steps of the cathedral or watch the people go by from one of several outdoor coffee / wine bars. It's easy to pass the time in this beautiful location in Todi's centre.

We parked at Parcheggio Consolazione which is free and under the trees. We took the Line E bus which leaves from the corner of the Chiesa di Santa Maria della Consolazione and takes you to the top of the village. Beautiful village with a lot of beautiful alleyways

A big comfortable square in the heart of city that everyone congregates around, like the living room of the city. Get a cup of coffee or gelato and lounge a bit.

The central part of Todi with lovely views overlooking the Umbrian hills and countryside. It is a small town so can be visited in 2-3 hours. Recommend wearing comfortable clothing and walking shoes/trainers.

Walking back from a restaurant one evening we walked into the town square where there were mostly locals gathering. A band was playing, people mostly just chatting, even getting quite late there were little kids and grandparents alike. We really enjoyed just soaking up the atmosphere.

What a lovely village, Todi! This piazza has some really nice restaurants nearby, little shops, little groceries and the best little bakery on the corner across from the church with the most awesome drinks, service, and appetizers! The church is quite grand and we also had the opportunity to attend Mass, of which had a most spectacular celebration going on. Not sure what it was, but it was grand!

Todi was a lovely medieval hilltown with lots of vicolos (alleys) and archi (archways), but I was so disappointed to see senseless huge sculptures standing in the central piazza in memory of an artist who died recently. They are so ugly, not compatible with the rest of historic architecture, and above all, no one can sit by them because the dumb things are made of Corten steel full of red rust. I really hope the city government will get rid of those as soon as possible.

I spend a lot of time in this Piazza. I am from NYC. I live here for a part of each year. There is a quiet or active life in this Piazza always. Come and enjoy.
