Located in the middle of Varese. The park is very beautiful. There are a lot of areas to just relax and there's a playground for children. You can visit the museum or play ball. Splendid place to bring your own lunch if you don't prefer to have lunch in the bar.

This is a quite beautiful park attached to a palazzo. Varese is in general kind of off the beaten track. But if you're there, do check this out. It's reminiscent of the Boboli Gardens in Firenze, on a smaller scale. Very friendly and welcoming. Locals walking their dogs, kids playing.

Let's keep in mind that the attraction is free - open to the public. Let's keep in mind that the concept of a clean environment depends on social behavior (this would not be an issue in Switzerland or Sweden...). That being said, I was appalled at how dirty the gardens were. The water of the fish pond was a garbage... More

We made two visits to the Gardens. On the first day there was a Fiera where all kinds of farm animals were on show in pens and lots of children were enjoying themselves. The Gardens were VERY busy. The day after things were back to normal and the Gardens were still well visited. We loved the fountains and the walk... More

Went there on a sunday, and had a peaceful stay walking around the place. People relaxing and meeting, and the palace and garden was grand. Excellent spot for a picnic too! Did not check out the inside of palace, but went to the museum to see ancient collection of Roman culture, which was partly in English. Very helpful guide.

We enjoyed the gardens in August, but were quite disappointed by the poor state of the building which looks like a dying beauty.... the gardens I could recommend and the Palazzo needs work done to it urgently. A shame the town council can't keep it up properly...

We visited the gardens in very early spring hoping to delight in the blooms and the expected geometric quality of the gardens, which we thought would model Mantua's stunning gardens. We were disappointed. The structure's principal points of interest are a few historical, century trees and a number of modern structures built within the past two centuries. At lunch time,... More

Me and my wife have been here in march and it was nice walking around the Park. During the blooming season must be really amazing!

It's walking distance from the town area. Quiet place, somewhere to sit back and relax. Big place, good for kid to run and play around.

This is a beatuful park in the centre of Varese. I like walking around and relaxing. The best is that it is in the heart of the city so easily reachible even while dealing with administrative stuff at the town hall or doing shopping nearby
