Tinuy-an falls is very stunning falls. local people called its mini Niagara Falls. layered falls with very fresh waters. this is one of the highlights tourist destination in Surigao del Sur. From the national hight way, going up it will took you 15min to 20 min 18 kilometers, I think, because of the unfinished road. Must see this place.

I've been to a lot of waterfalls in the Philippines and Tinuy-an is one of my favorites whether during rainy days or summer. I always wanna go back here.

Wow, the place is really cool. for only Php150 per ride for a group of 10 persons, we got to experience what it feels to be out on signal # 5 storm, strong winds and water cascading...the experience is really exhilarating. We even had a round 2 ride, and it never failed to amaze us... Just give a modest tip... More

The rafting experience is a must if you're there. Try to be connected with the guides there, who will help you, because you have to climb several steps. Staying there 2 hours might be enough.

This is a nice attraction. Set aside about an hour to take advantage of it. Good picture taking too. I suggest you pay to have your group rafted out under the falls. This is a awesome perspective and again great picture taking under/along side the falls. You will need a waterproof camera/go pro because you will get WET!

It was a long drive from Butuan but worth the trip! The falls is not really magnificent compared to other falls, but the rafting experince with friends is a must!!! No worry, guides are around to help and experts in taking pictures too! Preferably, bring your picnic basket. There are entrance fee, table fee and you can even have a... More

I recommend this place just for a short visit, around 2-4hrs only as there's nothing much to do around the area aside from unlimited picture taking and videos if you decided to swim. Life vest rental is per hour so be mindful of the time if you're on a strict budget. CR are ok, water is abundant thus its not... More

Worth the trip. The multi-tier falls is the highlight of my vacation in Surigao del Sur. We rented the balsa to go under the falls for only 150 for the whole group. The view is so amazing and I highly recommend this.

First stop of our Surigao del Sur tour. We were there at 7am. 'Twas cold but refreshing. The balsa is rented 150php good for ten persons. We were also able to climb up and take lots of pictures. Tour guides were accomodating. Overall, it was a great experience to see Tinuy-an Falls.
