Tom was an incredible and knowledgeable guide. My wife and I booked the trip somewhat last-minute and Tom was very accommodating. We started by drift snorkeling and then did some kayaking and snorkeling at a few spots. Tom was great at pointing out different things (coral, sea creatures, etc.). We saw plenty of turtles and an Eagle Ray. There was also a beach lunch with amazing food made by Tom's wife (Liz). Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Harbour Island/Eleuthera/Spanish Wells!

Tom and Liz provided a wonderful way to explore the island. The Adventure truck was a lot of fun and very comfortable with padded seats. Tom was able to tell us some of the history of the island as we traveled up to Preacher's Cover , the Glass Bridge and Queens Bath.
I think swimming in the Sapphire Hole was fun and beautiful. We would have never known it was there if Tom had not taken us.
We enjoyed a delicious lunch provided by Liz. My girls don't like mayonnaise and fortunately Liz provided wraps that everyone enjoyed.
I highly recommend spending a day with Tom on the Adventure Out Island Tours.

We did a lesson with Tom and my wife and two kids were able to get up by the second part of the session. Tom is highly respected in the Bahamas surfing community and the locals are really supportive of his business. Everyone in the lineup know we were Tom’s students and encouraged us along which is unheard of at other breaks. Teaching people to surf is what Tom is all about and Surfers Beach is absolutely worth the trip. Highly Recommended .

I went out for a surf lesson refresher and Tom was a great coach. He's knowledgeable, makes great observations and recommendations, and just an all around nice guy. Liz is also super nice, took great pictures, and had good snacks for the rest breaks. They were also very flexible getting me set up with a last minute scheduling hiccup, and very responsive to questions via email. I will definitely book with Tim and Liz in the future.

It’s almost been two months since our trip with Tom in Eleuthera and we are still reliving the experience! The day we spent with Tom made our trip. We were actually there for my wedding (which was also an incredible place to get married) but besides the wedding day this was the highlight. We will absolutely be back to Eleuthera and will absolutely be scheduling activities with Tom! He had an awesome truck that fit our entire party and had a speaker in the back so he was able to talk to us during the drive and tell us fun facts about things we were passing. We went snorkeling, explored the caves, swam, etc. it was such an awesome day!
And the other highlight that day was Liz’s (his wife) lunch! Can still taste the wraps and hummus. She was absolutely amazing and fun to be with too. AND side note for any brides, she did my makeup for the wedding and is super talented. We all want to move to Eleuthera and “grow up” to be Tom and Liz. They made our trip! Couldn’t recommend them more.

My fiancé and I wanted to snorkel current cut but were nervous to brave the current on our own, so we contacted Tom. We are so glad we did because we got so much more out of the day than we could have alone! We did a 3/4 day tour starting with snorkeling the cut, followed by kayaking across to current island with a few more snorkel spots along the way. We also enjoyed a delicious lunch prepared by Tom’s wife Liz, including hand made gluten free wraps with jerk chicken, carrots with homemade black bean hummus, home grown pomegranates, no bake cookies and fresh coconut. Tom was a great guide, sharing his local knowledge, answering all of our questions, and tailoring the day to our personal interests. He also thinks of all the details, including providing us with rash vests and a dry bag to borrow for the day. Would highly recommend!

Tom is a rockstar in the eyes of my children, who are 19 and 21 years old and have limited surfing experience.
Tom's communication before setting up this adventure was outstanding. He was very responsive, honest, and genuinely committed to making this a positive experience. We had many questions about timing, waves, and direction, but Tom answered them all.
Weather is always a crucial factor in surfing, and Tom stayed true to his word by contacting us at 7 AM to say that the weather was not suitable for surfing. The next day, he contacted us at the same time to let us know that we were good to go.
Tom's teaching style was excellent. He gave our boys enough knowledge and insights to build their confidence and let them take over. He made minor suggestions after that but mostly let them do it.
From start to finish, Tom was fantastic. Liz sent us some great photos a few days later, which made the whole experience truly memorable.

Tom and Liz have a great surf rental outpost close to Surfers Beach in Eleuthera. I called them up to see about two surf boards and they had two boards waxed up and ready to go for us less than 30 minutes later. The quality of their rentals are very high quality and the price points are very reasonable. Surfers beach was a short walk from their rental outpost and the waves were awesome. They were communicative, responsive and very friendly. I would highly recommend them for a surf board rental!

I’ve been to this part of the Bahamas many, many times and this tour with Tom was hands down one of my favorite experiences of *all* time! He’s a font of interesting information — flora, fauna, culture, history. There was never a dull moment. We snorkeled the Current Cut and the Queen’s Baths and toured the Glass Window Bridge + Preacher’s Cave and finished off with a refreshing jump at the Sapphire Blue Hole. Tom knows how to time everything just perfectly and you feel like you are in such expert hands. Would be remiss if I didn’t mention his chef wife’s *amazing* food — she even made a delicious vegan menu! Big bonus: Tom is wonderful with kids, and knows how to get even the reluctant young explorer engaged! You won’t be disappointed — and we will definitely be back for a kayaking adventure next year.

Writing another superlative review for Tom, Liz and BOIA seems a bit redundant, but they are so deserving. Tom is a really interesting guy who knows island life well. Talking with him was almost as much fun as paddling and snorkeling. He was a fabulous kayaking guide and took us to some lovely snorkel spots. We especially liked snorkeling the boulders near Gregory Town. Liz provided delicious food that met all our dietary needs. It was enjoyable both for two 60+ boomers and our 20-something sons. Definitely a must-do activity on Eleuthera!

Hey DonnaRey we don't offer spearfishing but do some great snorkel trips. Recommended is our 3/4 day snorkel (which can include great, and short kayak route).
