We had a long drive through Castries and then up through the mountains to get to The Treetop Canopy Adventure.
When we arrived, we had to be togged out with harnesses , hair nets and helmets for the Zip Lines.
I asked for a special helmet to take my head camera and got one.
Up we all went to the first line of 12 and when each was attached to the zip wire and the message from the end was all clear we each set off down to the end of the first .
This was an exhilarating flight through the canopy and way above the ground.
After the first line we climbed a bit higher to the next and so on it went until we had finished all 12 lines.
It was amazing travelling at speeds up to 30mph and over 65 feet above ground.
At all times we felt safe as the staff took great care to see that we were always attached to a wire before we moved onto a new line.
No lunch was included so we had to buy some at the restaurant on site. Not a great lunch but filled a hole!
Would not have missed this adventure for the world.

Zip line heaven. We booked this before leaving the UK. Picked up from hotel and taken to Dennery for a fun filled morning of zip lines and bridge walks.

The staff were helpful, informative and, at times, quite good fun.

From the fitting out to the first zip line the staff provided a good level of information - useful for those a little nervous of what was ahead.

There are 12 lines and 5 rope bridges. The lines are a mix of short and long, fast and slower. The bridges are short and long and just as good fun as the zip lines.

The zip lines are spread out over a good distance and there is plenty of walking with some of this steep in places. Lots of opportunity to take in your surroundings from different vantage points along the route.

The zip lines are the highlight - obviously. The longer lines, one is over 380ft, are brilliant. Fast and high up in the tree canopy.

Well worth the trip and price.

The staff ask if you have a phone and take them as they head for to other side of the line prior to you taking the zip. They manage to remember who's phone is who's and take photos and videos so you can simply enjoy the ride. This, in my opinion, is a great bonus and you end up with lots of great pics and videos you would not otherwise get the chance to take. A really good point to make.

Anyway, a great few hours and everyone in our group really enjoyed their visit.

Chapeau.

The views were amazing as you sat back and enjoyed the ride. The guides were awesome. You gave them your phone and they went along with your family taking pictures and videos for you. Popcorn was our guide and he made the experience that much better interacting with the kids. Highly recommend this adventure.

We did the ziplining tour which we booked through Sandals Grande St Lucia which is about a 90 minute drive away. Overall we loved this place! Beautiful views and a great ziplining course. The entire staff was super friendly and helped us capture lots of cool moments.

Sunshine is amazing, picked us up at the port with a private bus and gave us a great tour and very funny informational tour on the way to the zip lines. Lyndee took great photos of us with our cell phone through the canopy. Highly recommend.

We had such a great time and it’s absolutely breathtaking! The guides are very knowledgeable about the island and history. Sunshine was our tour guide and she was soo much fun.

Would recommend just be sure to bring water shoes for the waterfall.

This is a zipline adventure. The staff were excellent, fun and safe. The 12 lines were long and fast. Our guide, Sunshine, was excellent and provided much information on St Lucia on our drive to the park.

The fact WE DID IT, not for the faint hearted but worth it. You get a safety hat, gloves and strapped into a harness for the rope for you to decend..2 great guides Mac and D kept us laughing. They showed us how to sit correctly and then in the air we went over the trees..descending...You also have to walk over planks and climb stairs but its CRAZEEEE FUN..Defo going again..12!!! Times we descend. Before leaving St Lucia it's a must.🤣👍🏾

I was at Treetop Adventure on Friday 1 July 2016. I was really looking forward to having an adventure with my family as I had heard good things. When we arrived we were met by two guides Karim and a lady called Jay (I think that was her nickname). They were pleasant and took us to the top of the lines as the bottom was very busy. We therefore started on the longest line right at the top. My husband went first with Karim, I second. I lost momentum and stopped just a little short from the end. I was still on the line. Karim was very good and radioed Jay not to release anyone from her end until I came off. However, Jay released my 6ft 4 son who came flying into me and crashed into my side. Our heads banged together and I hurt my shoulder. I was horrified as my son came crashing into me at full force and speed. Two weeks on, I am now undergoing x-rays and in a lot of pain. The worst thing is Jay didn't even bother to apologise for her incompetence after being informed of the accident!

First of all, hydrate ahead of time it is VERY hot in the rainforrest and you will doing alot of hiking up stairs to get from line to line. Our tour guide Simple was great and really made the trip. He got us native foods to taste and stopped at amazing sightseeing locations we wouldnt see otherwise.
The ziplining itself left something to be desired. We have ziplined before in the states and the safety and breaking systems were amazing compared to here. They have you wear work gloves and hold onto the line itself and tap down to slow down, and if not you smash into the tree, and if you tap too hard you can dislocate your shoulder. My husband and I's gloves both were torn before we were done. They also did not wait long enough between sending the next person on the line, so you were frightened you were about to get hit if they couldnt get you disconnected from the line quick enough. The lines were all similar and none of them had a signifcant drop or thrill factor.
The views in the rainforrest were wonderful, and I am so happy we got to see this, as well as all the added bonus' Simple brought to the tour.
