Nice trekking

After seeing the bambarakanda waterfall you can go to watch lanka waterfall. You can experience a nice path while you go there. Waterfall also so nice.

We visited Ella during April, when the 3 days festival took place. The city was over crowded (not to say, almost impossible to breath..), dirty... nothing peaceful or relaxing. I would not even stay the night... Better to continue on to Hortons planes...

Here, he is - Rupa! He drove us from Ella to Matara very safely and relaxed. It was a wonderful trip with this so helpful and friendly man. He stopped and showed us a lot of interesting sights, so we could take a lot of Fotos.

Ella itself is a fairly pricey place to eat, but when you get off the train and walk down the path towards the village, stop to eat at the first eatery on the left. There is a wooden deck with a palm leaf covering and it is run by a lovely young woman who cooks fresh food, the same she... More
