The beach itself is quite nice but I must admit I was a bit disappointed. I had seen a lot of time the famous picture of the tree on top of the tower-like wall and I pictured a big place but this is in fact...More

Always visit this beach and it is just gorgeous. We rent a sun bed and parasol but this visit the wind was too strong so a bit disappointing. Don't pay for parking, go to end of road and parking is free.

High season despair! Overcrowded, noisy, hoi polloi, fully packed. Stay away if you're looking for peaceful and secluded corner of paradise on the island of beauty.

Lovely drive along the coast to this lovely little spot. Wish we had taken our swim gear. So pretty. So calm. Lovely little beach bars. Probably horrid in peak season due to crowds and parking 😩

Spectacular beach, right up there with the best in the world. Water colour is postcard-esque. Combination of trees, white sand, azure water and orange rocks is unique. Well worth a visit. Plan your parking beforehand (Google Maps useful). We were there on the shoulder of...More

The beach is long and small. You can hire beachbeds but they ask a rediculous amount of 15 euro's per bed. This is for the whole day and you are not allowed to bring your own food and drinks. There's no bus going to this...More

Its about 10km - 20 minutes. Best to check with the hotel. They can probably arrange transportation or just hire a taxi.

We stayed in Bonifacio in the south and Cslvi in the north… both are surrounded by beautiful beaches just a short drive away, but Calvi is probably more suited for people with kids to be honest. The old town of Bonifacio is... More
