Went up just half hour before sunset and enjoyed the view over Arcachon and the bay. Not being too comfortable with heights, the unstable stairs were scary but it’s worth it.:-)

This little tower gives you a good overall view on Arcachon and that's all. The tower isn't too big, nor scary. Not too many stairs, so easily doable within your own time.

The tower itself is stable, but the spiral staircase is held up by cables and sways a bit as you use it. Nice views from the top. Ville d'Hiver is not so interesting from above because of all the trees, but the view over Arcachon...More

Situated in the winter city, the tower offers a nice view of Arcachon. But you have to climb steep steps to reach the top.

The obvservatoire is not for the faint of heart with its spiral staircase and swaying movement. The view from the top makes the nervy climb really worthwhile.

I have to confess that I did not ascend the observatory due to me not having a head for heights. The spiral staircase is iron, open sided, and wobbly, so if you are like me, you may want to give it a miss!. However, my...More

We stumbled across this tower and decided to climb up it. However, it didn't seem very safe, especially since it was very windy that day. Even so, the children were afraid to do it, and only one person climbed it. However, I can say that...More

I am not that keen on heights, therefore found the ascent of the shaky spiral staircase rather an ordeal. However, the views once you get to the top are worth it. Each group of eight is limited to five minutes, which is ample to take...More
