Large and impressive castle which should be on any visit to this area if you like castles at all. Plenty of towers to climb and ramparts to walk along. One of the best medieval castles around.

well worth a day out. every part of the chateau is open, you are allowed up every tower and the views are superb

This was a great stop over for lunge at a nearby auberge before going into the Chateau itself. Was not aware this is apparently the largest fortress in Europe. Plenty to see and do, and a reasonable audio guide to assist you along the way....More

Amazing evidence of history lovely place to visit well worth a trip if your in northern France. very reasonable to get in and have audio tours in English.
