Visited in early summer on a glorious day. What a wonderful way to spend a lazy day - superb little beaches, turquoise seas, charming little French streets. Easily walk-able, great for a picnic. Well worth the 9 euro return fare from Roscoff (regular service).

Perfect for a day's walking with spectacular views and enchanting beaches. Few places open to eat & drink so good to take your own supplies. Ferry to & from island runs (fairly) regularly & transports everything from people to garden implements & pet cats!

As we stayed in Roscoff, Ile de Batz was just a short ferry trip away (€18 return for two). It's fun to explore the island and worth a day trip.

Not too cold to visit but, in my experience, don't expect too much to be open.
