Having wanted to visit for a long time, I was not disappointed. The Museum is in a very nice park setting, has a good lay out of their displays and is light and inviting to wander through, all on one level. Strange thing however, the...More

This museum is an absolute gem. It takes you backwards in time, through artefacts discovered off the nearby coast, from the 19th-century conflicts with Britain, all the way back to pre-history. The majority of exhibits and the most interesting pieces come from the Greek and...More

If you find yourself in Cap D'Agde, this museum is definitely worth a look. It's small, so we got through it quickly (in about an hour).

Pleasant afternoon in a smart little museum. Some good artifacts - more an hour's visit than anything though.

We went to the museum basically because it was raining, a rare event this summer, and we were surprised and delighted. In the middle of an industrial-sized beach resort, here is an oasis of culture! Beautifully and accessibly presented as well as scholarly, it gives...More

Fantastic exhibit, beautifully laid-out. The amphorae are amazing; mosaic stunning, and that is before you see the famous statue. Great history. Price - a bargain. Audio guide is well worth it (only 2 Euro!). This place deserves a visit and support.
