Went with the in laws one of whom has limited accessibility so he could only see part of the castle. The towers have very steep spiral stairs, but it’s worth the effort as the view towards the beach is stunning Also enjoyed the chapel and...More

The castle looked really nice in the pictures but the pictures are deceiving. Yes it is very pretty on a warm sunny day however it is very small and my visit only lasted 20minutes. It costs £5.50 admission and a ‘guide booklet’ costs £3 which...More

I had my dog, they were happy she came in with me, had an organic soya cappuccino, I was impressed they had dairy free options. You sit in the grounds of the castle and don’t need to pay entry if you’re only using the cafe.

There are so many castles around here. Well worth visiting. They are so much more angular than English castles.

It was a rainy day, but we still enjoyed exploring the nooks and crannies and climbing the twisty steps up the towers. Not a good place if you can’t climb steep staircases but we really enjoyed it. The cafe also was lovely for lunch afterwards....More

They have a good website with open and closed dates but it only goes to the end of September so far. There is a phone number and email address. You had better check as it is a popular wedding site.

Oooh, there is a lot of outdoor and it is below the village towards the beach, a pretty exposed spot. In wet weather the steps on the spiral staircases could also be tricky. The café is small with only very few places... More
