Just after returning from Manorbier this PM. Situated at the very end of the B4585 - this comes off the A4139 Swansea-Pembroke road - it lies just 5miles SW of Tenby - which is the nearest big town. These 5 miles will take you through...More

This is a privately owned Castle so is not in the pristine condition you sometimes find at other castles around the Welsh coast. However the castle itself is delightful and there are many interesting places to see around the Ramparts and Towers. The views from...More

I am captivated by this castle. Having spent a summer of visiting quite a few castles and having visited many in recent years, I'd say this is possibly the most beautiful, and certainly the most unspoilt; there's still ivy growing on the walls in some parts,...More

Had tea in the cafe then a stroll round the castle. Enjoyable couple of hours for all the family. Including climbing to the top of the tower.

There is not much to see a basic castle but there are very nice views from the top and you can climb right up , it's only £5 to get in so worth it if you are around

They have a good website with open and closed dates but it only goes to the end of September so far. There is a phone number and email address. You had better check as it is a popular wedding site.
