If you are visiting Pucisca by boat then do visit. Not a major attraction but worth seeing if you tie up for a few hours. I certainly now have a better idea how they plan and execute the stone carving. Time also to have a...More

Visited here when on a small boat cruise around Croatia. We were taken in here. Spent probably about 30/40 mins. Not much to see & didn’t see any of the students at work. I really wouldn’t bother unless you are particularly interested in stone masonry.

Great old-style school with tradition. Full of amazing sculptures made of Brač white stone. Authentic art. Worth visiting. Pučišća itself are wonderful coastline village, calm and not crowded by tourists. Always nice to be back. Ant time of the year.

Visited during summer months so saw beautiful works but no students. Excellent introduction by Grade 1 student Yann. Underrated village too.

Interesting stop on coach tour of Brac island. You can see the stages of the stonemason's craft and the beautiful work that they produce. Pit it's all too big and heavy to take home!

To visit the school you must call prior as they don't due individual visits - groups only. We called and we were added to a scheduled group. Denis was our host and is one of the master teachers at the school. If you have an...More
