This bridge never ceases to amaze and amuse us. It's so far above the ground that the cars and motorbikes look like toys. This time we drove under it and it really is as good as it looks.

This 2 km bridge must be experienced. In fact, if driving to or from the south of France, the whole La Meridienne motorway, commencing near Montpellier and up to Clermont Ferrand, though the Massif Central, is a must do! Amazing scenery, driving at times up...More

The Millau Viaduct is well worth a visit. Before going into the visitors centre take a while to stand underneath this construction and marvel at the achievement of the build. It has two visitors centres, one is situated under the viaduct - be warned it...More

The Aire du Viaduc on the northern side of the bridge is a pleasant spot with the best view of the bridge from below. It has displays and information about the bridge, a shop and cafe.

The simple graceful design, the sheer enormity of the task of building it. It is always there in the backgound, because it is so huge and yet so soft and gentle.

Its worth getting a look from dowwn below but the directions on the signposts just took us to the visitor centre and "shop". Drove over the bridge on route to the midi and as told height is apparent on the bridge due to the side...More

I don't know. We didn't see any helicopters but we could have been there at the wrong time of day. You can get very good views from Creissels below & from the information centre & of course driving across it. It is very... More

Barcelona to Millau by car (or minivan) is a 4 hour trip one way. Unless your group is totally into great engineering feats only I wonder if you would not like to extend your trip to include the (reconstructed) middle age... More

No idea. Maybe long distance buses. Not trains. I was actually disappointed when we later drove over it as you can't see anything from car
