Lovely public gardens. Very peaceful with great views over Laval. A quirky detail is a book-depot in the shape of a tree where you can take or leave a book. There are aviaries and pens holding pygmy goats. There's a museum in the grounds but...More

Not always open and not obvious from the outside, so if you don't know it's there, you wouldn't be any the wiser as it's surrounded by a high wall. Inside however it's a very well maintained green space with a variety of labelled plants and...More

It was a lovely garden with some awesome birds in the middle. It had a nice playground for our girls and some good views over Laval. It's the only reason to go to Laval as the rest of the city is lacklustre.

We came by chance to this great place when we were walking on the upper parts of Laval. The place is full of poetry, with a dignified small house and a beautiful garden accessible through a small gate in an alley. The garden is dominating...More

An excellent spot for all in the heart of the old town. Something here for everybody, play area and 'pets' corner for the kids as well as botanical garden for horticulturalists. A great place to just sit in the sun, read a book and contemplate.

This Botanic Garden sits on the hillside overlooking Laval city. A quiet peaceful place for a picnic, private contemplation or just a stroll through the trees and shrubs. There is a pond, a baby animal farm and an avery as well. Even a small medieval...More
