First negative point, unlike other museum's I have visited world wide there were no English posters next to the exhibitions. Only English was provided on A5 paper. Exhibitions did show some interesting parts of the history of St Nazaire, however disappointing to see they were...More

Special mention for the desk staff (especially Joseph) at this museum - excellent English and great advice. We bought a combined ticket for the 3 museums down in the old port area of St Nazaire - an on-going transformation that is bringing in more tourists...More

We went through the museum as fast as we could. A bit on the dull side. Only in French. I would say an okey museum especially after visiting the submarine museum.

This museum is so small and doesn't contain many exhibits. Most of the exhibits are ship models, plane models, and pictures of ships. Explanations are totally in French. I spent only ten minutes here.

This museum display is chock full of history, models and displays for your nautical fix. It is a most-informative display but in bad need of updating. It just doesnt compete with things like the Atlantic display down the road

Came as a package with the Escal Atlantique and Submarine Espadrol. Visited it last in the sequence and was not up to the standard of the other two features.

This is the local history museum which would have been very interesting if you had the information in different languages especially after visiting L'Espadon & Escal'Atlantic which catered for multi languages. Museum shows the towns history from the stone age up to the modern era...More
