The petit tren is a good option to get to & from La Persq'lle parking area. I believe it is possible to split the journey and return later using the same ticket.

I wish we had done this little tour on our first day, so we could see the surroundings of Cassis. I enjoyed peeking into the walled gardens with bougainvillea spilling over the side, on our way up and down and the views when we got...More

The little train takes you around the harbour up to the Basilica. The ride itself is not of any particular interest but it is an easy way to get to the top.

If you want to see a nice view of one of the "callanques", this is a good way of getting there. Otherwise just keep your money in your pocket. The rest of the trip will give you a tour of the shops and supermarket, and...More

We didn’t expect much from the little train ride and we didn’t get much! It was something to do on an afternoon in cassis. But we saw more than just walking around.

We did this on a whim just to kill some time and didn't realize that it went up to the first callonque. It was a great view and we had enough time to take a few photos. The tour itself was nothing special, it was...More

Bonjour Kate, There is parking at Parking Mimosas on Avenue Augustin Isnard. The train is 5 mins walk from there. Be aware that the parking is not very big, but should be ok out of season.

Hi, The first train is 11:15 a.m. This is what I've copied from the website - please note they seem a bit confused regarding their low season dates! Guided tour of 40 minutes to discover the history of Cassis vestiges... More
