We had less than half an hour in this park and enjoyed every minute of our visit. Yes, there were flamingoes parading. It was surreal to be so close to these lovely birds after viewing them through binoculars at the Etang du Fangassier. This is...More

Good for half a day. Nice picnic facilities and nice and easy tracks to watch bird wild life. Parking a bit chaotic on a busy day as the day we visited.

I took the morning bus from Arles and got there 15 min before opening so I had a coffee next door. Was the first in and had the place to myself - yup just me and about a hundred or so screaming flamingoes - and...More

Wow. Thousands of flamingos were the highlight. Nice slow walk around perimeter was also nice but the gorgeous/awkward/awesome,frenetic, pink, long-necked, mud-slurping flamingos definitely stoke the show!

A terrific half-day experience. We caught the regional (L20 Arles - Saintes-Maries De La Mer) bus to Pont de Gau. The four hours between buses flew by as we walked both the popular 2.6km route plus the other 4.3km path. We’re not experts but estimate...More

You can go to this parc for 30 minutes, do a small tour and look at the flamingos hanging out in the water or take 2 or 3 hours and hike this park while enjoying the nature. Beautiful place, go early in the summer as...More

A great place to see flamingos, herons and many other species of birds. There is a series of easy walkways. You can hire binoculars. Nice cafe overlooking the park. Would recommend.

Just one minute to watch group of flamingos from the entrance. Going around the park, there are so many places to watch them. Of course, there are so many precious birds in the park.

We certainly didn’t expect to see over a thousand flamingos! End of January is mating season and it was wild and humorous seeing and hearing the loud frenzy of the flamingos with the males strutting and showing off their deep colored feathers. Some were pushing...More

It was mildly amusing to see the semi-tame Flamingos, but there are a lot of wild birds at the park as well. If you walk to the outer fringes you may see interesting birds such as Black-winged Stilt, Avocet, Sacred Ibis, Shoveller, Water Rail,

The ornithology parc is a lot easier and you are sure to see flamingoes, herons and other wildlife. You can also visit the nature reserve but that does not guarantee anything. We were lucky and saw flamingoes, a red kite and... More
