Conveniently located just 15 minutes south of downtown Montreal in the Mohawk territory of Kahnawake, the complex currently offers over 60 poker tables and a selection of over 900 Electronic Gaming Devices. For dining, there are three distinct restaurants to choose from. There are authentic Japanese delights at the upscale Drunken Dragon, a vibrant steakhouse known as etc., and the locally renowned restaurant The Rail Coal Fire Bistro. Additionally, there's the Babel, an exquisite cocktail, tapas, and Shisha lounge, and Esperanto, a sophisticated lounge dedicated to cigars and whisky. Phase 2 of our expansion will reach its completion upon the opening of a forthcoming hotel.

I was playing a tournament (buying $100, and the blinds were at 1000 and 2000, the 4 players on my left folded and the one on my right right next to me increased the bet to 25500 , I had AK and I went all in the rest of the players folded their hand and the one to my right threw away these cards, so the dealer, instead of picking up the cards and gave me the chips because everyone had just fold, he decides to ask the player if he wanted to fold that hand, I tell him yes, he just threw these cards away, so the player says "no, I didn't want to fold" but in any place where you play poker, when you throw away your cards, it means that you fold your hand, but the dealer insists and he calls a superior and the superior says "if the cards are visible, the player can take his cards back and that's it a call and not a fold, I told him but, no here or in any other place in the world, when you throw away your cards it's a fold and that's it! But the manager decided to protect the player and give him the chance to take these cards and pretend he was calling the hand instead of folding! So I got up and showed my AK and told him this is cheating, keep my chips and I left!! I would never come back to this place and I advise no one to go play poker at this place because they cheat and protect players. In addition, their own employees often play at the tables.

Very good time spent at the Casino with friends and family. Clean place, a good choice of machines, but above all excellent service from a waitress named Catherine with her beautiful, friendly smile and fast and impeccable service. We will definitely be back very soon. Thank you for these beautiful moments (Friday and Saturday). See you soon!

As of today the food is no longer free. You have to pay with some reeards points. A pizza cost $14. That means that you have to play around 11 hours at the $1-2 table to get it free....Bye Bye Playground

We understand that the recent changes came across as a shock, however a revised menu is on it’s way. Thanks for sharing your feedback, as it's always appreciated.

This is one of the better poker rooms I have been to, perios. The room is very clean and he staff are friendly/ helpful. They converted USD at the cage and then gave me chips in equivalent CAD. The main room has an abundance of tables and comfy chairs. Drink and food service is great. There are a few tables for high limit and then a separate area for tournaments. They also have some video slots. The Rake is high, if I recall correctly it is about 10% up to 15 dollars at the 2/5 table I was playing at. The food and drinks are free and it is good quality food as well. So at least the rake goes to that and the promotions. Some other rooms they rake and you get nothing essentially. The only other downside is the location, this place is in the middle of some sort of Indian reservation quite far from Montreal. I took an Uber there and it was like 25-30 mins away from Montreal, the cost was something like 35-40 dollars. And then when you are ready to leave there is no Uber allowed in that area so the app doesn't pick anything up and you have to get a cab, of which there were several outside, they cost around the same to get back to Montreal. I would say it is worth the trip just for the experience. If you are going to spend a lot of time there you will find some good action but the players are also good. Didn't find any fish so I guess that was me. Also they did warn me that once they convert from USD to CAD they would not convert back at the cage and advised me to go to a bank.

This Poker Palace now turned Casino is still relatively small approximately 400 slots but there must be 1,000 places to sit and play poker. It also has a small restaurant but the food is excellent they have a great roast beef dip sandwich. They are still working on smoothing things out as they just opened in December. When I went they did not even have a place to check your coat. But each time I go there are changes. It is very clean and bright and the staff are very helpfull. One of my secret places to go and enjoy not too many people yet so it is nice not to have to wait for a machine

I don't know what is wrong with me. I have known about Playground Poker for years. YEARS! But I was always resistant to going. It is too far, it is difficult to get to (I don't drive) and excuse after excuse.

Finally, a few weeks ago my aunt was talking about playing poker. She is on the South Shore so I was like - "have you ever been to Playground?" She hadn't and less them 10 minutes later we were planning on meeting there that afternoon.

I hopped in an Uber and was on site within 20 minutes. It basically cost the same as going to the Casino de Montreal and that is with a 1 lane Mercier bridge!!

I was set on playing one of their daily tournaments. How cool is it that I played a tournament with me aunt! WHAT! Their tournament pricing is all over the place from $65 and up, so check their calendar for an idea of what is available.

Dealers were super friendly, drink service at the tournament tables (complimentary) and an overall cool vibe throughout. I really enjoyed myself. I am looking forward to a return visit soon!

I have been to a several Casino and stand alone Pokerooms in Vegas and on the east coast and I can say that Playground is the best overall. No other casino games there, its poker and poker only and they do it very well. They always have ongoing promotions for both, cash games and tounaments. The place is very spacious and clean and the staff is extremely professional. They host 2 WPT tournaments every year with a series of smaller events before and during the main event. If you love poker, it's the place to be.

I've been a devoted patron of Playground Poker since shortly after it opened, logging thousands of hours at the tables and even holding the record for the longest continuous session—over three and a half days. The establishment has been like a second home to me, but recent events have left me feeling disillusioned and concerned about how they treat their players.

During a visit earlier this year, I had an unfortunate encounter with a staff member who was unprofessional and disrespectful towards me. Shocked by this behavior, I sought to address the issue through the appropriate channels, hoping to have a constructive conversation with someone from the executive team. Despite my long-standing loyalty and substantial contributions to the establishment, my attempts to escalate the matter were met with resistance. I was told there was no one above the manager to speak with, leaving me feeling stonewalled and unheard.

The situation escalated dramatically when I arrived for a session recently. Without any prior notice or explanation, I discovered that my player card was locked, and I was informed that I was banned from the establishment. The manager on duty could only tell me that a note had been placed by a "Poker Manager," but no specific reasons were provided.

This experience has been incredibly disheartening. It seems that when a player raises valid concerns or seeks to address mistreatment, the response is not to resolve the issue but to silence the individual. The lack of transparency and communication is alarming, and it raises serious questions about the management practices at Playground Poker.

Players should be cautious. The establishment appears to operate in a manner where voicing concerns can lead to punitive actions without explanation. An environment that doesn't support open dialogue or respect its patrons' feedback is troubling, especially when many of us have invested significant time and money there.
