This does not have the vertical of Revelstoke, nor the urbane village life of Whistler. But it's a huge resort that runs 10km across and with many runs that provide almost 800m of vertical top to bottom. First impressions were that there was a lot of development across the base of the resort, but that there wasn't really a village... More

We were very disappointed in the Big White shuttle service this evening. After two nights of fantastic service, we were reluctantly picked up by a driver that continued to chastise us up the hill from the village for not being at a designated stop. The two previous nights more than 6 people were at the stop and the pleasant drivers... More

Had an awesome time here! My wife's beginner/ intermediate and I'm more experienced and this resort has all sorts of terrain: and lots of it! Snow was amazing - a full day of champagne powder while we were here. Nice village feel too with great restaurants, bars, shops, grocery stores and accommodation. It's known as a family resort but it... More

They market this resort as BC's favourite family resort. I am not sure on what basis it stakes this claim. I can tell you of the approx 20 mountains I have visited it is one of the coldest I have experienced. A wide variety of terrain but my observation is that the grooming is average for a "family" resort. It... More

If you're looking for a winter wonderland getaway, this is it. There is so much to do at Big White, for skiers, boarders and everyone who doesn't do either. There is plenty of terrain to explore for skiers and boarders. Green runs for novices, easy to difficult blues, and a large number of black runs to choose from. And most... More

Just returned from a week at Big White Resort, an hours drive from Kelowna Airport. The resort is small compared to some of the larger European skiing destinations, but it has everything you need. Unlike skiing in the Alps though, Big White by comparison is empty! No lift queues during the week at all and at the weekend, not more... More

Have just spent 10 days skiing at big white. 3 couples with adult children. Great snow, no lines, the runs are suitable for all levels. A wide range of restaurants. Grocery store on the mountain and not to expensive. Loved our time there and can't wait to get back

Spent 3 weeks in Big White and couldn't be more impressed with the village. Plenty of bars and restaurants along with a super market and clothes shops. Skiing was brilliant with plenty of runs for all levels. Went tubing Friday night which was great value and booked a night at the Hockey in Kelowna which every one should do.Will be... More

Have been to Big White now 3 times and continue to love this resort. Great staff, service and being an average skier at best, lots of challenging hills to tour and enjoy. Great restaurants and lots of other things to do as well. Will be back again soon!
