This beautiful cemetery houses the royal graces of the Cakringrat family who ruled over Madura for cemeteries. Some of the graves are pre-Islamic and are made from fine sandstone. Madura was often ruled by two different sultans, one of whom was based at Sumenep at the eastern tip of the island and the other who ruled from Bangkalan at the western end.
