Lots to see relating to life in the local area. Housed in a traditional Bavarian building. Certainly worth a visit if staying local.

We visited here on a Wednesday afternoon as the museum currently only opens for 3 afternoons per week. The entrance cost was 4 euros per adult and on entering there are rooms leading off either side which house the spinning wheels etc that were used. Beyond this there are rooms upstairs and downstairs with differing collections of farming implements, woodworking tools as well as a display of religious artefacts, old carts and sleighs. With a number of other displays linked to the area this is well worth a visit if staying in Oberstaufen. The museum looks relatively small from outside but with the various levels both up and down the place is an interesting insight into the regions past.
