Pretty and fun golf course; terrible customer experience
Aug. 2020
The Golf course itself is nice and the panorama is beautiful. However, the beautiful scenery is overshadowed by the terrible loaner golf equipment and the impolite staff.

What you get for your 45 Euros a day is: a bag without carrying straps full of dirty clubs that must be from the 80s, as well as a heavy steel trolley that falls over at every stop.

An inquiry for different equipment is met by a „feel free to return it“. By the way: we tried that and received no reimbursement, even for the previously paid days that we did _not_ play on.

Somewhat funnily: there is a post box specifically for complaints, that is conveniently and visibly placed in the middle of a little lake. Complaints seem to be a common occurrence.

I recommend playing on this course only if you bring your own equipment and can make do with minimal staff interaction.

Focus on panorama, Golf course is ok but not more
Jul. 2016
This 18 hole course is in some areas quite packed (hole 7-8-9) and quite dangerous. I almost hit people on green 8 while driving downhill to hole 7. The greens are super slow and the pace of play is also quite slow. It is part of the Oberstaufen Plus card, therefore it is a good deal cost wise, but from a pure golfers perspective, the Steibis golf course is much better.

Beautiful and challenging

This is a short course but not at all boring. The differences in elevation make for some interesting holes. I usually shoot scores in the 90's and thought this was a great course. It is very hilly so if you walk make sure you have a light bag or good trolly. I was worried when I heard that tee times were not needed but the system of just going out when you are ready seemed to work just fine.
