It was very hot day when I visited Goslar and I couldn't imagine walking longer time with the face mask so I decided not to get inside. This still remains on my to do list. But even walking around, taking pictures and observing other visitors enjoying their time was an unforgettable experience. The place seems to have a special magic spirit and I am looking forward to come back one day.…

This palace is astonishing when you look up to it from the parking place. Get closer and see how fine this building is and I really recommend you to visit inside. Here you find great wall carpets and paintings and a fine view over Goslar.

My only advice to those who come here: get your audioguide. It's available in English and German. One can download an app to their smartphone or rent a device for about 2-2.5 EUR at their desk. It's a must here. Enjoy your walk and you won't be disappointed.
