This little square lined with beautiful historical buildings and with a charming fountain in the centre really lives. There are several option for refreshment, either one of restaurants and cafes with the outside seating or just drink or ice cream to go. Although it can be very crowded at times it is always enjoyable.

Beautiful town, like a fairy tale - we climbed the Bell Tower, great views! Visit the palace! They have headphones with self-guided tour in English. Very cool tour! The market in town was small but sweet, we followed forested paths to gluhwein stands, had great sausages and sweets, true German Christmas Market - so many families and kids, just really gets you in the Christmas spirit - our favorite day in Germany!
