I have nothing but good things to say about Land & Ross Antiques. I saw a beautiful barristers bookshelf online, contacted Peter, who was a pleasure to deal with & made the whole process of having it shipped from Ontario to Alberta seamless. It was delivered for a reasonable fee in a reasonable amount of time and it arrived intact with no damage, exactly as it was presented online. I would not hesitate to order from them again!

This is one of the best and interesting antique shops i have seen. It is more like visiting a cross between a hip museum and art gallery. There is a great variety of items to view from historical, artistic and other perspectives. They have two locations in town.
In addition they perform restorative work, custom designed furniture and have items ranging from lawn furniture to folk art, lighting and more.
An example of interesting things normally in a museum they had a complete captain chairs that date back to the late1800;s allowing you to see the craftmenship of woodworkers of the day
The staff and the owner are friendly, informative and very helpful.
we appreciated that the company distinguishes clearly if a piece is an antique, contemporary i.e. used; vintage, etc.
Add to that the prices in the shops are reasonable.
In the end we purchased a couple of outdoor vintage items for our house which the owner carefully loaded into my truck for me.

Great formal and old country furniture to see in this 40+ year old antique store. We just went to browse but saw a number of 19th and 20th century pieces.
