A charming and beautiful lake with a quiet and picturesque promenade. Very good for a quick stop, or even a short stay.

Scenic, pleasant and lovely to walk round the Ammersee is lovely. There's a whole host of things to do around, across and (sometimes) in the lake too. Worth a visit.

The weather was wonderful (29 and sunny). Everyone was wearing swimsuit and enjoying that weather. There are places for drinking, eating and just sitting down to enjoy the calm, breeze and sun. I really recommend this place if the weather is good. However, bring towel...More

There are two options for a cruise boat on Ammersee for about two hours each. The North part and the South part with few stops, good on board service snacks and softdrinks beer and wine.

The lake side offers stunning views of fabulous houses, lazy sailing boats as well as the German Alps in the distance. Early morning is the best time for discovery walks.

The Ammersee is part of a region of 5 lakes: Starnberger See, Ammersee, Wörthsee, Pilsensee, Weßlinger See. Each have their own character. Each have their own beauty. Try to get smoked fish "Renke" somewhere, they also offer other fish, but it's not from Ammersee Lake....More

在地图上发现的地方,无意之选却美不胜收。在这里度过一个周末或者一个悠闲的下午,是再合适不过了。湖边,长椅,冰激凌车,还有很多有格调的餐厅可供选择。 If you have a weekend,Please come here, enjoy the lake and view.

If you are staying at the Amersee hotel, just ask at the front desk. If not, you can ask anyone at the sidewalk cafes, they can give you the schedule. It runs at different schedules during the year. I highly recommend doing... More

Sorry I really didn't see any camping by the lake. Mainly hotels and restaurants were on the water front. Hope you find somewhere to camp. It is a charming place but quite populated.
