It is a real passion on those who own/work in this tower. It is a very well done (especially for kids) and everyone is very pleasant and can tel you stories about the tower long hours.

If you are already at the castle to eat or to stay the night then you MUST see this, but it’s not worth a long walk up the hill from town to visit. The caretaker is very friendly, and the signs are in both English and German, but the tower is just a tower. There is a fun catapult simulator on one of the levels, so I think kids would especially enjoy that part of the museum.

Mr. Von Osterroth engaged our imagination and connected us with the physical structure. The children liked the interactive items. I appreciated the explanation of the double gates. It is about a 30 minute visit.
