Lake Titisee was lovely,quaint small town,lots of hiking trails,beautiful lake with cruises all day. Fantastic accomodation and easy to get around. We arrived and left by train,again very good. Unfortunately it poured rain got two of our three days there,but would still highly recommend it.

A lovely lake with excellent views of the area. Plenty to do on the lake too. Lovely coffee shop with seating outside on the terrace overlooking the lake.

Beautiful lake at 840 meter above see level Surrounded by forest with unbelievable quit, the boats in the lake are man powered or electric. Water are clear and the round lake path is great walk of 3 KM. Nice tourism area with bars and restaurants.

We hiked from Hinterzarten train station, it is well marked once you are on the trail and took maybe 3 hours or more.

I wasn't actually there on a Sunday - I imagine they would be as it's very touristy, in fact most of the shops tend to sell typical tourist 'tack'.
