Really nice place to visit at the Black Forest in Germany. At this time of the year you can see a frozen lake there. Nice restaurants and some good places do buy souvenirs.

A very busy place to visit, but well worth the drive there, and having to move around all of the crowd. We had a lovely boat trip around the lake for an hour or so, and then decided to walk around the lake as well...More

Like the view of the lake with black forest background. With many restaurants, shops, and hotels around its typical of convenience holiday places. Suit for all ages. Experience the view from the lake center by renting boat. €7 for 30minutes.

We hiked from Hinterzarten to Titisee in December and loved it! There are so many trails near the lake and having the lake as the end point is spectacular. We recommend seeing this in winter when it is partially iced over for the amazing view....More

We came here in Mid November, the lake was beautiful with lot a ducks swimming & hang nearby. Some of the trees turned yellow & some withered. There were nice restaurants near the lake. We especially like the ice wine & black forest cake.

We spent a morning walking around Lake Titisee after it had snowed. It truly is beautiful. The town is undeniably touristy (the prices in the shops are a give-away) but it is charming none-the-less. Pity that you can't go on the lake in winter.

I visited Titisee briefly as part of an organised tour. We were lucky enough to encounter a Winter wonderland, with snow, Christmas decorations and a festive feel. There are many shops selling souvenirs of many kinds including cuckoo clocks in many sizes. I imagine that...More

I wasn't actually there on a Sunday - I imagine they would be as it's very touristy, in fact most of the shops tend to sell typical tourist 'tack'.
