Very nice lake. Partially frozen in December. But the view from the room is amazing specially during sun rise and sun set.

This is a good spot to stroll along after a meal. There are also many shops around ranging from souvenirs to accessories such as Pandora, etc. Cuckoo clocks are made here in the Black Forest locally so another item to purchase.

It was winter day (November) and this place was calm and serene and full of ducks and birds. It was just memorable to walk on the banks of the lake. It gave so many opportunities for our cameras.

The lake was so calm on this last visit. The air clear and crisp. Full of tourists (as always). You want a cuckoo clock GO HERE.

Having been to lake Annecy and lake Geneva on our trip lake titisee was a let down. It is in a beautiful setting in the Black Forest but the waterfront seems dirty and the town is geared to tourists and bus tours

We walked to Lake Titisee from Hinterzarten, while on a tour of the Black Forest Area. The lake was still and dark, there was a charm about it that made us sit for a while alongside on the benches. Very beautiful. This was the first experience when we arrived. If you walk further into the town, you come across many... More

Having read lots of wonderful reviews and looking forward to our visit, we were somewhat underwhelmed by the area, as the town seems to focus more on the tourist souvenir business than ensuring the lake and its surrounds are the main attraction. Glad we visited so fine if you are in the area, but would not go out of our... More
