This year this is being run by two young ladies who clearly love their horses and you have to take you hat off to what they are doing. They were well prepared and professional. My daughter and I had a lovely 2 hour hack through the forests, across a river and along forest paths. It was not a hack in wide open spaces, trotting or cantering; you occasionally get glimpses of the surrounding hills. Have to admire their effort. Good communications and helpful.

We booked a vacation with them for horseback riding, accomodation and food last fall 2016.. they took a 200$ deposit for the reservation on our VISA and then there was a fire at the Ranch (2 weeks before the date of our trip), we got a call from them a week before our trip, telling us about the fire and cancelling our reservation. They still (7 MONTHS!!!) havent refunded our 200$ deposit. Multiple phone calls and emails and no one is getting back to me. HELP!

My husband and I went for this trail ride and really enjoyed it. The barns are the cleanest I have ever seen. The teacher was very informative and gave us lots of tips on riding. She also is very careful to make sure the riders are riding properly and taking care of the horses. She truely cared about her job and has an obvious love for horses (and other animals). Great couples adventure we plan to return with our kids!

I am a horse lover so it'd important to me that I feel like the animals are being held in a good place with people who care about them and I would say this place fits the bill. I really loved the area we rode it, great location. We went just for an hour ride but they are definitely set up for longer stays which was nice. I am excited to go back in the winter and try some of their other activities.

Sunday August 29 - I took my 2 10 year old daughters for a one hour guided horseback ride and it was wonderful. The Ranch estate was clean and well maintained with stables, paddocks and rustic original buildings. There were beautiful horses, some foals and ponies - all looking very healthy. The ride itself was perfect for my 2 young girls - gentle walking on a mix wide trail through the forests and across a couple of small streams. The horses were full sized, not ponies, and very well behaved, although a bit sluggish - which was fine for us. Our guide, Camille, was really pleasant, professional and genuinely happy to field constant questions from my 10 year old girls who took a shine to her instantly.

Highly recommended for families with kids who want a safe gentle experience..

The ranch itself was stunning. You have a beautiful view of the mountains and everything about the location is rustic.
There is large fireplace in the main lobby that you can sit near to enjoy the warmth. The lodge is made of wood and is very cozy. I recommend a sweater when walking around the lodge.
It was great for us - the night we went, we had the whole place to ourselves

The people working are dressed in cowboy fashion, really setting the scene. They are all extremely welcoming and generous.
