Lived in India for some time and can say it's a really nice temple. Came here together with my husband and baby. We came around 12 pm when they just started their pooja, beautiful. Parking is available in front of the temple, toilets on the other side of the street. Very clean too. It's 2nd biggest Hindu temple in Europe,... More

Nicely done South Indian Temple (worship place for Hindus) for She deity. Fairly big enough; gets busy during Indian festival times. Even the locals visit the Temple to know Indian culture.

Authentic and graceful place. Has very good vibrations. Good to sit and close our eyes for sometime to feel the energy and blessings.

Chitran, a Taxi driver in Erlangen, told me about this Temple in Hamm. Not many of my friends knew about it and when I checked the distance, it was over 400 Kms from Erlangen. All of a sudden on a Saturday morning, I decided to make the journey, started around 11.30 am and reached around 4 PM. Somehow, the Gopuram... More

But we were mightily surprised....The pictures or videos don't do justice to this heavenly place. This is clearly in top league of temple... More

I was longing to visit a temple in Germany esp in the NRW region. We were told by some friends about this temple and we decided to visit it ASAP. The temple is situated on the outskirts of the city of Hamm but still has connectivity with the local transport. It is easy to locate with big enough sign boards... More

If you are interested in religious architecture you shouldn´t miss the "Sri Kamadchi Ampal Tempel" at Hamm/Uentrop. It´s the biggest South Indian style Hindu temple in Middle Europe and it´has been built and established for the Tamils community in Germany. Although I arrived just when the service began they told me to come in and watch the ceremonies. You have... More
