A Quiet Oasis
Nov. 2019
This Church is easily found on the banks of the Rhine in Boppard. It does not appear to have many visitors and yet is a most interesting building with ancient wall art and stained glass windows. It is well worth visiting if you have time available.

Interesting church to ourselves
Sep. 2019
We visited while on a self guided tour of Boppard. Had the church to ourselves at 10.30 on a Sunday. Some good wood carving and wall art dating back to 13th century

Calm respite

This whitewashed simple church is beautiful and calm and a joy to find and sit and contemplate life - refreshes the parts of the soul and the feet if you've been walking all day!

Worth Visiting

Not far from the Rhine this lovely church is worth a visit. Beautiful stained glass windows and impressive alter and such a feeling of peace inside.

The church is right by the Rhine and is worth the visit as it encapsulates the typical decor of the Rhine church

Worth a visit

We paid a visit while staying nearby and we found it very interesting. The stain glass windows were worth viewing alone.

Beautiful and interesting
Apr. 2017 • Couples
Take the time to look at the very old grave stones as well as visiting the inside of this beautiful church. The stones can be found outside, down the side of the church, against the wall (the side of the church that is nearest the town). The inside of the church and the carved alter pieces are stunning.

Important church

Not the most appealing of churches aesthetically, but with much interest for the student of architecture.

Charming church
Sep. 2016 • Couples
I think we are castles out and, churches out after 19 days of travel but we managed to enjoy this church very much in Boppard. Very charming church with lovely frescos and more ornate on the inside than the outside.

History and Culture combined

There is a printed guide in many languages available making the visit to this church which has history dating back to 1265. There are many interesting statues and relics and a beautiful fresco. Well worth a visit.
