Particularly recommend for engineers. If you take the tunnel route (currently compulsory due to road works), bring a torch, the installed lights are not working. don't miss the other old bridge further down the valley!

We walked from the old town to Teufelsbrucke. A bit confusing to get all the way to the monument, but we'll worth it!

The historic (and mythical) bridge looks stunning in the snow. Unfortunately the path down to it was not cleared and it would have been too dangerous to walk down there. Would really have liked to.

Dramatic cliffs, old roads and bridges and one very rugged mountain pass that the Swiss have conquered with tunnels and switchback roads as only they can do! There is a very large stone carved memorial to Russian soldiers who fought and died protecting this pass...More

The bridge was built in 1200. It is a 20 minutes walk from andermatt. No admission A small parking lot Toilets in the nearby restaurant. Nice view to some waterfalls You can walk around a little bit

Nice bridge at the beginning of the Andermatt vallee. Worth to shortly park your car and have a quick walk.
