I can only confirm what these visitors say about this historic site. However is the Bundeskapelle historically of more importance than as a tourist feature.

The Bundeskapelle Brunnen is a very small chuch just yards away from the Vierwaldstatte lake. This tiny church has very simple exterior architecture. Inside there are white walls and a very nice altar of statues and black marble. When walking around the town of Brunnen take the few minutes to see the little church with the beautiful altar.

The chappel is just at the place where the old Swiss swore to reniew their union from 1291 in 1315. This was the real start of the Swiss Confederation (the official name of Switzerland). pore
