Absolutely spectacular skiing across the glacier. Words cannot adequately describe such nature experiences. Up so high in the mountains & alone is a special experience. We took the Diavolezza Gondola to the top. The initial section to get down to the glacier is a little...More

I forgot my gaiters but luckily my shoes could handle snow. There where snow everywhere. Bring your wind and rain breaker if you have one. Knee height for a tall German guy. For me, thigh height. Just go, before it disappears.

nice cross country trail, but going up all the way and going all the way down when you return, well maintained, but is a winter trail as well, so people may walk on the trail

When you approach the glacier by train or road from Pontresina the glacier confronts you in all its glory with the peaks behind it. Takes your breath away. From the top of Diavolezza you can ski down to the Glacier and along its itinerary route...More

The fast withdrawal of the glacier is leaving its marks along the valley. The path ( about 1hour or 1 hour30 ) leads through different environment, habitats, vegetation and fauna, an educational itinerary through the glacier ages. The path is easy and well kept in...More

This glacier on a sunny day is a masterpiece - one of the most beautiful sights you will ever lay eyes on. Twice we have hiked from the trailhead up to the Boval Hut. If you have the ability to do this ( 600 meters...More

There are two different ways to see the Glacier, you can go up to Diavolezza and then walk down the Glacier or Ski down in Winter, you have to check wether the trail is open or you can go to Morteratsch by car or by train... More
