We hiked up from Scuol to San Jon and continued first towards S-Charl and took aleft down towards the gorge, crossing it and climbing up to the guesthouse Avron, also very much recommended (see separate review). We returned back down to the gorge and inside the gorge continued down back to Scuol. The hike is not one of the better... More

Good walk to start your visit. Tarasp Fortuna has a good cafe and regular bus service, but the walk back to Scuol is easy.

We walked from Scuol to Vulpera up to the small lake and on to tarasp and returned to Scuol. A lovely not too demanding walk enjoying the woods, alpine meadows and the gorge.
