Nice for relaxing walks, or to stroll Lungolago with his little boats, nice houses, terraces and good restaurants, a reall plaesure to be, to sit down on a bench and have a free time to enjoy in Ascona.

Walked along the car free old town was really nice. There are many choices of restaurant and many shops around. Found a bit of trash in some part of the lake, but still worth to visit.

We had a very nice lunch after after doing a long scenic walk along the waterfront shops and parkland. It's a great place to have lunch and enjoy the wonderful view of the lake and mountains. We'd definitely go back whenever possible.

The lake front promenade is so much nicer than the lake front of Locarno. Plenty of places to sit and watch the water or people watch. We took the boat ride to Locarno. Wish we had stayed in Ascono for the entire day. Even with...More

You won't be alone here on a sunny weekend day, but it still is a pleasant stroll on the lakefront, cramped with restaurants and crowded with tourists.

Car free, with plenty of benches and trees, fantastic views of the lake and the islands of Brissago. Particularly pleasant during the jazz weeks and chestnuts week-end
