Very welcoming and friendly people. They have all sorts of donkeys, with all sorts of characters. For every person a donkey to fit. They give you great advice for how to walk with a donkey, but also tips as what to do in the neighbourhood (castles, restaurants, walks..) It's an unique experience and children love the animals.. - Nicolas &... More

Loved this and the idea. We have a 3yr old and 6yr old, each had their own donkey to avoid arguments. It was nice to be able to go for a walk for a good 3 hours whilst the children were carried. Lovely countryside and nice family time together. Thank you Sabrina (owner) for warm welcome and our donkeys's Justine... More

Our kids 2 yrs, 2 yrs and 5 yrs had a great time to ride on the back of Ulysee. They loved to guide him with the rope and motivate him to walk. Normally the kids don't like to walk that much but with Ulysee the 2 hours went by very fast. Sabrina is a very friendly person. And don't... More

My family are from Australia - but have had the opportunity to live in Belgium for a half a year for part of my husband's job. When I started researching what would be fun to experience in Europe that we do not get the opportunity to do in Australia, I came across these donkey hikes and immediately had my heart... More

We had a wonderful trek through the autmun woods in the Loire Valley with Noisette and Ulysses. Our two children (8 and 9) absolutely loved the trek and rated it as one of the top highlights of our month long holiday in France and the UK. The sense of freedom and beauty as we walked along with our new friends... More

We did that during our holiday in the Loire and according to our kids this was the best day we had in the Loire valley. I do recommend to take the half day option since 2 hours were not enough for us to enjoy the beautiful forest and the friendly (yet sometimes stubborn, in a funny way) donkeys.

Walking with a donkey through the woods seemed to connect us to ancient times, we took a picnic and enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, with no web surfing or game consoles to distract from the deepness that nature offers in abundance. I would highly recommend this excursion. With our two children we shared half a day of just walking... More

We had a wonderful experience with Sabrina and the donkeys. Our kids (4 & 9) were so excited and loved riding Noisette and Ulysses. It was a fun adventure to head off with a map and the donkeys. Sabrina was excellent at explaining how to handle the donkeys so we felt comfortable on our own...but they were such lovely, gentle... More
