Its not as expensive as other places in Switzerland but the view sure is very nice. If you go all the way up be sure to go on the tissot bridge and to hike the glacier walk. Its not difficult as its flat and at...More

Not the cheapest day but well worth it if the weather is good. We arrived by late morning and parking was no problem at the base of the cable car. The journey up is steep and fast. If you don’t like heights, stand at the...More

What an amazing place! Make sure you visit Glacier 3000! The glacier walk takes about 1h30/2 hours through the snow, and offers great panoramic views. Food (Sausages or cheeseburgers) took very long and was not very good.

It isn't easy to get to. It isn't cheap. However we had a marvellous day. We travelled by bus from Gstaad which is an easy route. When we bought our tickets the cashier reminded us that Swiss half price cards are valid and thereby saved...More

Definitely worth the visit if you are going Montreux. I stayed one night at Les Diablerets just to visit Glacier 3000. Alpine coaster is a Must-do, at 10 francs per ride (discounted for multiple rides). The sky ride was spectacular as well. However, the glacier...More

The view going up the cable car is surreal and fantastic. When you get to the top, you have the choice of a few activities, you can walk on the ice field, do the peak to peak, have a pique-nique, lounge on long wood chair...More

This is an expensive trip. Very enjoyable, but expensive. The large (and quick) cable cars whisk you up to the summit in minutes. In Summer the cable cars are quite empty. I wonder why prices aren't reduced in Summer (without the snow, the experience at...More
